How much does it cost to rent the West Complex?
Rates for use of the West Complex can be provided in the form of a facility rental quotation once your organization has provided the West Complex Event Request Form.
Do we need event insurance?
Yes. A certificate of insurance is required for all requests for use of the West Complex. Requirements for the COI can be requested by contacting JCSU Conference and Event Services at (704) 330-1495.
How many food trucks can fit in the space?
Safely/comfortably five (5) food trucks
How many vendor tables can comfortably fit in the space?
There is no limit to the amount of vendor tables; use discretion regarding spacing
How many tents can fit in the space?
Comfortably, one can fit maximum 15 10×10 tents
Where can we park?
Across the street, in Mosaic Village there is complimentary parking. Please do not park on the West Complex lot to ensure pedestrian safety and emergency access.
How long can I utilize the space?
The West Complex is available for use from 7am – 10pm
Who handles clean-up?
You are responsible for cleaning up the space. You must provide your own trash bags. You may use the trash receptacles that are located around the space but do not overflow or leave trash on the ground. Failure to ensure proper clean up after your event will result in a $500 fine.
How long will it take to approve my event?
Please allow up to 72-hours, or 3 business days, for staff to contact you concerning your event request.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol on the premises?
No alcohol is allowed on the premises. Alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Do you provide tables or chairs?
We do not provide rental equipment. Each organization is responsible for providing their own equipment.

Do you have electricity outside/in space?
Yes, we have limited power supply. There are operable string lights built into the space. There is also one standard 120-volt outlet at the stage. There are 5 standard outlets along the white building. Events requiring significant power usage should plan to supply your own generators.
